With a nickname like “The City Beautiful” there’s no doubt Orlando offers incredible scenery. Also known as the theme park capital of the world, Orlando’s tourist attractions are world-renowned. With so many activities happening on the ground, have you thought about escaping the crowds and flying high in the sky? Orlando Balloon Rides provides incredible hot air balloon rides throughout this Disney city. Whether you’re a visitor to Orlando or call Orlando your home, bring the whole family and make memories to last a lifetime in the sky.

Your 3 to 4 hour Hot Air Balloon Experience will begin at our base of operation. At the launch site, your flight crew will brief you on your upcoming balloon adventure. Then, you will watch with awe as your balloon takes shape before your eyes, ultimately standing more than 10 stories tall (Passenger participation in the setup is welcome.). Once fully inflated and ready for takeoff, you climb into the gondola and begin the adventure of a lifetime!

This one hour flight will be filled with varying breathtaking sights of the Orlando area. During the flight your pilot will point out views spectacular sites of this area, from theme parks to the Orange groves and forests, to swamps absolutely untouched for thousands of years. Upon landing a traditional champagne toast is held to celebrate your wonderful adventure and your pilot will present you with a personalized flight certificate. (Non-alcoholic beverages are also available.) We will then return to the Orlando Balloon Rides Welcome Center. At this point your pilot will present you with a personalized flight certificate.

For ballooning we require light winds, good visibility and no precipitation. We fly at approximately 1000 feet. The flights can be 1 hour in length; however we do require you for up to 4 hours in total for the entire adventure. Since we fly with the prevailing winds, our flight patterns and landing sites vary due to the changing wind directions. There is very little feeling of movement or sensation of height.

Schedule:
Daily depending on weather conditions. Meeting time is approximately one hour before sunrise. This can be anywhere from 5:30am to 6:30am depending on the time of year.

All guests must make a reservation at least 3 days in advance.
